Uganda Lodge

Uganda Lodge is a new community project that has been started up in SW Uganda and they are looking for volunteers to go out and help teach English in the local schools, or help start up other beneficial projects that will ensure guests staying at Uganda Lodge will be working closely with the local villagers. All ages welcomed including families and your help can be offered for a few days, weeks or months. After flights, it will cost you £70 per week for your food and accommodation (could be slightly cheaper if staying for several months) with any profits going directly back into improving and upgrading the various projects. Even if you have no specific skills, Uganda Lodge already have a good selection of our TME educational DVD's out there - translated into the local language and waiting to be shown to a wider audience, and you could help with this. Alternatively any arts, crafts, sports, building, medical or trade skills would be particularly useful.
